Barebone computers are systems that allow an individual to economically build or rebuild a computer. With a rebuilding scenario, the older computer crapped out (blown motherboard), but some components may still be useful. Generally, hard drives and optical drives can be reused in a barebones system. IF the barebones has the same CPU socket and RAM type as your older computer, you are in luck to save even more money. Barebones "usually" are pre-assembled with case, power supply, motherboard, drivers CD and manual. If you want a relatively trouble-free system, I recommend using a Shuttle!
